Your Kenai Fjords & Resurrection Bay Water Taxi

Ensure comfort & safety for your kayaking party going to the Kenai Fjords on the M/V Weather or Knot. Our landing craft catamaran, designed specifically for the rigors of water taxi services in the Kenai Fjords, can smooth out the ride with its wide stance and double hull. Passengers will arrive refreshed & ready for their adventure. The vessel offers both indoor and outdoor seating as well as safe stowage for your kayaks & gear.

Loading is in the Seward Small Boat Harbor, located near the Alaska Train Depot. Our trips are scheduled to leave daily at 8:00 am and return by 6:00 pm. Your gear can be loaded on and off the boat in minutes using the front-loading ramp. Services are offered from Seward, Alaska to the Kenai Fjords as far as Nuka Bay.

Rates for common drop off and pickup points*:

Prices plus applicable taxes, fees & fuel surcharge; Weather Permitting reserves the right to increase the fuel surcharge prior to departure based on market value of diesel fuel. Each Monday morning of the operating season, the current fuel surcharge will be assessed and updated. All trips operating that week, Monday through the following Sunday, will have this surcharge applied. Weather Permitting is committed to keeping the system as simple and affordable as possible.

Cancellation Policy

Cancellations made more than 7 days prior to departure will be fully refunded. Cancellations 7 days to 48 hours prior to departure will be subject to a 50% charge. No refunds on cancellations made within 48 hours of departure. No refunds for non-appearance without notification.
